The Municipality of Cagayancillo is an island town home to about 7,000 residents. This town also holds the jurisdiction over the world famous, Tubatahha Reefs National Park, a Unesco world heritage site and a very popular dive destination.

The main livelihood in Cagayancillo is fishing but local crops are also produced at a scale enough for the town’s consumption.
